Sept. 16, The Election Commission has directed the National Land Commission to stop the distribution of land ownership certificates immediately.
It is for maintaining fairness of the scheduled elections to the Provincial Assembly and Federal Parliament. The Land Commission has been further directed to provide every information on distribution of land ownership certificates and land mapping within September 18 and 19.
Information to this has been mentioned in the press release issued by the EC Spokesperson, Shaligram Sharma Poudel on Thursday.
