Deuba’s address to Police

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba asked the police organisation to be technologically advanced to solve the problems. The function was held at Nepal Police Headquarters of Naxal on the occasion of the 67th Police Day.

He said that the government was committed to transform the Nepal Police Force with more modern devices in the future. He also asked police personnel to perform their duties in a fully professional manner. Deuba also promised to encourage more participation of Nepal Police in the United Nations’ peacekeeping mission in foreign countries.

Similarly, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand applauded the work of police in maintaining peace and security in the country.

Police Chief IGP Dhiraj Pratap Singh said that he would focus on motivating Nepal Police personnel and increasing other facilities to them.

Many police personnel were granted different awards for their excellency in the line of duty. Similarly, AIG Rajendra Bahadur Singh was awarded with police’s life time achievement awarded by PM Deuba.
