An Appeal of EC to Private Sector

Nov. 10: Election Commission has requested industrialists and businessmen to support in promoting voter education for the elections. The Commission made this request by organizing an interaction with the private sector at the Commission’s office in Kantipath on Tuesday.

Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya requested to facilitate the employees working in their organisations to vote. He believed that there will be a change in the economic environment after the election.

Officiating president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Chandra Dhakal expressed his happiness that the Commission also remembered the private sector for it. He expressed his commitment to help implement the request of the Commission through their network.

Vice president of the FNCCI Anjan Shrestha asked to allow businessmen to use their vehicles on the day of voting and to give them responsibility as observers.
