Arrival of Bivalent Vaccine

Kathmandu, Feb. 14 – Three hundred forty-five thousand doses of Bivalent vaccine has been brought in Nepal on Monday. It is produced by Pfizer Compony.

Surendra Chaurasia, Chief of Supply Management Division of Health Services, said that the vaccine would be stored at the department of Teku. This vaccine has been carried in Nepal for the first time. It will be used as booster dose against the Omicron sub-variant of the Corona Virus.

A total 1.5 million doses of it would be provided to Nepal in four phases.
