Kimathanka, Feb. 22: Sudan Kirati, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, has said the President would be elected on the basis of national agreement.
As the President is the symbol of national unity, the President would be elected on the basis of national unity, he said at Tumlingtar of Sankhuwasabha today.
According to him, the CPN (Maoist Centre) is making maximum efforts to elect a national agreement President who is acceptable to all the parties including the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML). He added that the present coalition government of the UML and the Maoist Centre will not break for now.
