Pokhara, Feb. 26: Paul (Purna Bikram) Shah, who is facing a rape case, has been decided to be released on Monday by the Pokhara High Court.
Hearing on actor Shah’s appeal against the decision of the Nawalpur District Court, the High Court mentioned that the claim against Shah was not sufficient.
A singer filed a complaint against him for raping her in a hotel in Gaindakot, Nawalpur. Nawalpur District Court sentenced him to put in prison for two and a half years in this case.
Paul is currently in Tanahun jail. Although the Nawalpur court did not find Paul guilty of the charge of rape, it sentenced him to the crime of child sexual abuse.
