Hong Kong defeated by Nepal with 9 Wickets

Kathmandu, Feb. 27: Nepal has defeated Hong Kong by 9 wickets today. The match was held under the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup Asia Qualifiers in the United Arab Emirates. 

Hong Kong posted a target of 121 runs to Nepal after losing all its wickets in 46.3 overs.

For the balling side, Hemant Dhami took 3 wickets, Subas Bhandari and Akash Chand 2 wickets each and Dipesh Kandel took 1 wicket. Nepal met the target in 22.1 overs at the loss of only 1 wicket. Aakash Tripathi contributed 64 runs for Nepal while Uttam Thapa Magar made 39 runs and Arjun Kumal 16 runs.

Nepal, the UAE, Singapore, Kuwait, Hong Kong and Malaysia are participating in the Qualifiers. The winner of the Qualifier will play the U-19 Cricket World Cup taking place in Sri Lanka in 2024.
