Bharatpur, Mar. 4: On the occasion of the World Wildlife Day, a morning rally was organized around the tourist town of Sauraha on Friday to raise awareness about wildlife conservation.
World Organization for Animal Health, Japan Trust Fund, Chitwan National Park and the National Trust for Nature Conservation jointly organized the event. People from different local communities participated wearing their traditional dresses in it. A one-day wildlife conservation workshop was also organized where 57 conservationists interacted with the residents living to the east of the Chitwan National Park.
The World Wildlife Day is celebrated on March 3 every year.
