Tikapur, Apr. 7: The Tikapur Literature Festival is going to begin from Saturday. It is the first literary event in the city of Kailali district. It is being organized by Tikapur Literary Society.
Arts, literature, social and political issues in 20 different sessions are going to be discussed in three days’ festival. Chairman of the Society, Mahesh Bikram Shah, said that mediators for the sessions have been finalized.
Writer and analyst CK Lal is scheduled to deliver his speech on ‘Social Harmony’ in the inaugural session.
The organizer said that three different prizes including ‘Khadka Memorial Rastriya Gaurab Puraskar’ and ‘Tikapur Sahitya Samaj Prativa Puraskar’ will be distributed.
