Kathmandu, Apr. 8: The official Facebook page of the Office of Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers has been started again after 2 years.
According to the Prime Minister’s press expert Manahari Timilsina, an IT team from the Personal Secretariat of the Prime Minister took an initiative to resume the verified page. Its plan is to operate all sorts of social sites in a bid to provide information to the people about the government’s activities and manage information mechanism of the government in a combined way.
A draft of the directives for all government offices has been prepared to use all types of social sites including Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and Instagram for providing information about their activities.
