Kathmandu, May 1: President Ramchandra Paudel wished all Nepali sisters and brothers at home and abroad for their happiness, peace and prosperity on the occasion of International Labour Day.
He said that the day would help unite entire labour force across the country for protecting their rights, interests and freedoms. The Nepal Constitution has guaranteed the right of every worker to access appropriate salary, facilities and contribution-based social security by assuring all the citizens with right to employment.
According to him, it was inevitable to build self-reliant and independent economy by increasing domestic production through the development of entrepreneurship in the country. He wished that the day may inspire all to take initiative towards promising labourers’ rights.
