May, 3: The Nepali Army is organizing the second edition of the CoAS National Tennis Tournament from May 11-19.
According to the organizers more than 200 players are expected to take part in the tournament that features 13 events. The tournament carries a cash of around 1 million rupees.
Top three players in men’s singles, women’s singles and mixed doubles will receive Rs. 50,000, Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 15,000 respectively. The participating players need to represent their respective clubs and each event will have at least 8 teams.
Nepal Tennis Association will provide technical support to the organizers along with appointing tournament director. Chief of the Nepali Army Physical Training and Sports Centre, Col Munal Basnet, NTA President Jyoti Rana and General Secretary Manohar Das Mool were also present on the occasion.
