Khotang, May 12: Police have arrested agricultural expert Madan Rai on charge of child sexual abuse.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Manjil Mukarung said that he was arrested by a team from Khotang District Police Office. Rai is also the operator of the Shubhadra Madan Foundation in Diktel.
Rai has been accused of sexually attacking female children at his institute.
It is said that Rai supposedly made the children speak dirty things and forced them to engage in inappropriate activities.
