Kathmandu, May 14: Arrest warrants have been issued against Pratik Thapa, son of former Home Minister and CPN (UML) leader Ram Bahadur Thapa and Nepali Congress leader of Ramechhap and former lawmaker Angtawa Sherpa.
According to Home Ministry official, Kathmandu District Court has issued arrest warrants to take Thapa and Shrestha under control.
The arrest warrant against Thapa is issued in connection with his involvement in sending Nepalese abroad in the cover of Bhutanese refugees. Sherpa has been blamed for receiving amount from different persons in the same case. He had also gone to hold talks with Sanu Bhandari who is in custody for his involvement in this scam.
