Kathmandu, May 17: The Department of Transport Management has decreased the fare of public transport.
Soon after the prices of diesel and kerosene reduced by Rs. 10 per liter each by Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), the transportation department diminished the fare of passenger and good carrier vehicles. The reduced fare will be implemented from today.
The department press release stated that fare of public vehicles reduced by 3.20 percent, fare of good-carrier vehicles operating in hilly road reduced by 4.19 and good-carrier operating in Terai road by 4.65 percent.
