Sindhupalchowk, May 20: Urea fertilizer has started to enter Nepal from the northern border of Tatopani.
35,000 tons of fertilizer is entering in Silk Market having Tatopani custom office in 2 phases, 25,000 tonnes and 10,000 tonnes respectively.
According to the Chief Operating Officer of the Silk Transport Damodar Satyal, 7,100 tonnes of fertilizer is coming to Tatopani customs. The fast testing and inspection of the fertilizer, the request has been made to Agriculture Material Company Limited.
As for the storage capacity of the Tatopani, the custom is only 7,500 tonnes. The remaining fertilizer has been stored at Sigatse and will enter Tatopani within a few days.
