Kathmandu, May 20: A meeting has been held between Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Jonathan Brooks, the Deputy Vice President for Europe, Asia, Pacific and Latin America (EAPLA) programs, of Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
A team which was on a visit to Nepal led by the MCC Deputy Vice President Brooks met the DPM and Home Minister Shrestha reaching the Home Ministry at Singhadurbar.
At the meeting, Brooks requested assistance from the home ministry for the land needed for the MCC, security and cooperation.
According to the Secretery of Home Ministry Govinda Bhattarai, DPM Shrestha said that Home Ministry and subordinate administrative agencies will provide the needed and sufficient help for the project to complete on time.
