Kathmandu, Sept. 3: Pathao Nepal, a ride sharing service provider, has started free delivery of food at night. Shashank Shamsher Thapa, Spokesperson of the company, said that Pathao has started free delivery of all food orders from 9 PM to 12 midnight with the slogan ‘Restaurant prices at home’.
Pathao Nepal is celebrating its fifth anniversary on September 24. Targeting its anniversary, the company has announced a free delivery scheme, Thapa said.
Pathao Food, which has been delivering food from 9 AM to 3 PM, will charge Rs. 150 for food delivery for the next 3 hours, from 12 midnight to 3:00 PM.
It is providing service from more than 600 restaurants, informed the company. In June this year, the company had organized a food fest in which it had set a new record in food delivery by delivering more than 150,000 orders.
Pathao had started bike ride sharing service in Nepal from September 24, 2018, and light car (taxi) service from August 9, 2019. In September 2020, Pathao launched the home delivery service for hotel and restaurant meals and snacks.
