Kathmandu, Sept. 18: Thousands of Hindu women have crowded the Pashupatinath temple to worship Lord Shiva on the occasion of Haritalika Teej.
Decorated in red saris and kurtas with all sorts of ornaments, women from different age groups entered the temple premises early morning.
Hindu women celebrate the festival across the country, to share the message of sisterhood by gathering at their parental home, involving in singing and dancing. Starting with an early morning bath, women celebrate the festival by worshipping Lord Shiva with lighting lamps and fasting.
